Mar, 1997, Mr. Victor Ju, the founder of WEIBANG, resigned from the post of general manager from a state enterprise and started to create his own plant; he gave the name “WEIBANG” to his garden machine plant. “WEIBANG” means “from high quality”.

Sep, 1997, the first WEIBANG lawn mower come into being.

1999, a 1000sqm factory premises were rented to WEIBANG to manufacture lawn mower. The production area expanded five times.

2001, to further increase sales numbers in the booming china market, WEIBANG purchased a land of 13000sqm and built new workshop over 4000sqm in Yangzhou, china. Eventually, production was moved to Jiangwang industrial zone, and lots of new facility was added.

And in 2002, WEIBANG shipped its 6,000 lawn mowers and became the first china lawn mower manufacturer to become ISO-9001 certified.

In 2004, WEIBANG again had to expand to be able to meet the ever-increasing product demand from the domestic and international green industry. WEIBANG purchased a land of 30000sqm again and built new workshop over 7000sqm in Yangzhou Economic Development Zone, China. Meanwhile, a new painting line and a new assembly line were established. This facility, now operational, supports the expansion of the company brand by manufacturing selected products for global distribution and providing service and support to it in the rapidly developing international market.

May 1, 2005, WEIBANG headquarters officially entered the Economic Development Zone, the annual production capacity increase to 300,000 units.
